What is the Richard Roberts
International Ministers Fellowship?
Richard Roberts International Ministers Fellowship (RRIMF) is a fraternal fellowship of men and women who are active in the full-time preaching, teaching, and healing ministry of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our personal Lord and Savior.
It is not a denomination, nor does it legally bind its members. It is a fellowship far bigger than any organized group or denomination.
The purpose of the fellowship is to provide a broad range of spiritual, educational, and professional benefits including teaching resources and ordination through the Oral Roberts Evangelistic Association.* (*Ordination track available for qualified men and women involved in full-time ministry.) The foremost benefit is mutual fellowship and spiritual enrichment during conferences; sharing of ministry methods; revelations, prophecies, and teachings in the fullness of the Holy Spirit; and personal encouragement from one minister to another.
RRIMF is envisioned to be a group of men and women from around the world who are leaders of the charismatic people of God and who are knit together by their love and a commitment to work together in unity. Jesus said we are to “be one” (John 17:21), and this is the main theme of the fellowship. It is time for unity among ourselves.
RRIMF includes those leaders who believe in and preach the importance of signs and wonders in the life of the Church today. Signs and wonders are seen as evidence that the Gospel has been fully preached (Romans 15:18–19). This was the pattern established by Jesus, who preached and taught and then healed the sick and delivered the oppressed (Matthew 4:23). It was the pattern of the early Church (Acts 4:14–31), and it is the pattern for us today. Jesus said it is signs and wonders that confirm the preaching of God’s Word (Mark 16:20) delivering the people from sickness, demon possession, fear, and poverty.
This organization is a charismatic, Bible-based fellowship for those in ministry. Charismatic expresses our reliance upon the Holy Spirit and our belief in signs and wonders as confirmation of the Gospel being preached. Bible expresses our utter dependence upon the Word of God for all we teach and preach and for the holiness of our daily lives.
Ministry expresses the extending of fellowship to all who occupy any type of full-time ministry in the church today: apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher (Ephesians 4:11). We are ministries in action, ministries that are having a tremendous impact on this world right now and will continue to have that influence until Jesus comes again.
Who may participate? RRIMF is open to all men and women who are active in the full-time ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ and who agree with the Statement of Beliefs on the following page. We do not discriminate against any race, ethnic background, or members of existing denominations or independent groups.
Who leads the RRIMF? The fellowship is a part of the Oral Roberts Evangelistic Association and is governed by its board and a board of advisors from all around the world. Operational funding is provided by Oral Roberts Ministries.
